KYC Verification

The FAQs are aimed to educate, inform and guide you through both User Minted and Platform Minted Marketplaces on our application.

How to start KYC verification from the Money Wallet page?
  1. Select Money Wallet on the top navigation bar of the marketplace

  2. On the right side of the page, select Start KYC. A KYC wizard form facilitated by our partner, Stripe, will open

  3. Fill out all the required details such as Country, Entity type, Name, DOB, and based on the country selected, users can select from the list of statutory documents from the drop-down. Upload any one of the documents -> click Submit. In the chart on the Money Wallet page, the status will change to “KYC in Review”

  4. If additional details are required, an email notification is sent and in the chart on the Money Wallet page, there will be a call-to-action button Complete KYC

  5. Click Complete KYC -> a wizard form opens asking for additional required details and documents. Fill in the details and upload the required documents -> click Submit

  6. Once the documents are verified, the status on the Money Wallet page changes to “Enabled”. The information is stored in our database for our legal team to prevent fraudulent activities

 

Note

i. If the KYC is under validation, and status on Money Wallet page is “KYC in Review”, then users are allowed to buy/Join Drops/sell NFTs

ii. If the KYC is under validation and the status on Money Wallet page is “Complete KYC”, then the users are allowed to sell NFTs but, not allowed to Join Drop/Buy

iii. When the status is “KYC in Review”, the offline validation is in progress at the backend. Meanwhile, users are allowed to buy and/or sell the NFTs through FIAT or Cryptocurrency

iv. Until the users submit all the required details, the call-to-action button on the Money Wallet page will be “Complete KYC”

How to start KYC verification from the Drops page?
  1. Select Drops Page on the top navigation bar of the marketplace

  2. Click Join drop on the card. If the user’s KYC details are not verified and value of the drop is more than USD 3000, then KYC wizard form facilitated by our partner, Stripe, will open

  3. Fill in all the required details such as Country, Entity type, Name, DOB, and based upon the country selected, users can select from the list of statutory documents from the drop-down. Upload any one of the documents -> click Submit. In the chart on the Money wallet page, the status will be changed to “KYC in Review”

  4. If additional details are required, an email notification is sent and in the chart on the Money Wallet page, there will be a call-to-action button Complete KYC

  5. Click Complete KYC -> a wizard form will open asking for additional required details and documents. Fill out the details and upload the documents -> click Submit. Until the users submit all the required details, call-to-action button on the Money Wallet page will be “Complete KYC”

  6. Once verified, the status on the Money Wallet page changes to “Enabled”. The information is stored in our database for our legal team to prevent fraudulent activities

 

Note

i. When details are pending submission from the user, if they click Join Drop, then the system throws an error notification and asks users to complete KYC on the Money Wallet page

ii. If the value of the drop is less than USD 3000, then even if the KYC is not verified, users are allowed to join the drops

iii. Verified users are allowed to join the drop of any value

iv. When status is “KYC in Review”, the offline validation is in progress at the backend. Meanwhile, users are allowed to participate in drops and can buy from drops

How to start KYC verification while minting/selling as an Admin?
  1. Select Community Marketplace or NFT Wallet on the top navigation bar of the marketplace

  2. Click Mint. If the user’s KYC details are not verified, then the KYC wizard form facilitated by our partner, Stripe, will open

  3. Fill in all the required details such as Country, Entity type, Name, DOB, and based upon the country selected, users can select from the list of statutory documents from the drop-down. Upload any one of the documents -> click Submit. In the chart on the Money wallet page, the status changes to “KYC in Review”

  4. If additional details are required, an email notification is sent and in the chart on the Money Wallet page, there will be a call-to-action button Complete KYC

  5. Click Complete KYC -> a wizard form opens asking for additional required details and documents. Fill out the details and upload the documents -> click Submit. Until the users submit all the required details, call to action button on the Money wallet page will be “Complete KYC”

  6. Once verified, the status on the Money wallet page changes to “Enabled”. The information is stored in our database for our legal team to prevent fraudulent activities

 

Note

i. User journey will not be on hold, even if the status is in “Complete KYC”. Users can continue to Mint and Sell but, the payment option is enabled only after the KYC is verified.

ii. When the status is “KYC in Review”, the offline validation is in progress at the backend. Meanwhile, users are allowed to Mint and Sell the NFTs

How to start KYC verification while buying NFT?
  1. Select Community Marketplace on the top navigation bar of the marketplace

  2. Click BUY on the NFT card. If the user’s KYC details are not verified and the value of the drop is more than USD 3000, then the KYC wizard form facilitated by our partner, Stripe, will open

  3. Fill out all the required details such as Country, Entity type, Name, DOB, and based upon the country selected, users can select from the list of statutory documents from the drop-down. Upload any one of the documents -> click Submit. In the chart on Money Wallet page, the status changes to “KYC in Review”

  4. If additional details are required, an email notification is sent and in the chart on the Money Wallet page, there will be a call-to-action button Complete KYC

  5. Click Complete KYC -> a wizard form opens asking for additional required details and documents. Fill out the details and upload the required documents -> click Submit. Until the users submit all the required details, the call-to-action button on the Money Wallet page will be “Complete KYC”

  6. Once verified, the status on the Money Wallet page changes to “Enabled”. The information is stored in our database for our legal team to prevent fraudulent activities

 

Note

i. If the value of drop is less than USD 3000, users are allowed to buy NFTs without KYC verification. KYC is not compulsory for NFTs of value less than USD 3000

ii. Verified users are allowed to buy the NFTs of any value

iii. When the status is “KYC in Review”, the offline validation is in progress at the backend. Meanwhile, users are allowed to buy NFTs of any value

iv. If the users click BUY on the community marketplace when details are pending and status on the Money Wallet page is “Complete KYC”, then the system throws an error notification and ask them to complete KYC on the Money Wallet page.

How to start KYC verification as a Drop Admin?
  1. Select My Drops on the top navigation bar of the marketplace

  2. Click Create/Publish drop. If user’s KYC details are not verified, then the KYC wizard form facilitated by our partner, Stripe, will open.

  3. Fill out all the required details such as Country, Entity type, Name, DOB, and based upon the country selected; users can select from the list of statutory documents from the drop-down. Upload any one of the documents -> click Submit. In the chart on the Money Wallet page, the status changes to “KYC in Review”.

  4. If additional details are required, an email notification is sent and in the chart on the Money Wallet page, there will be a call-to-action button Complete KYC

  5. Click Complete KYC -> a wizard form opens asking for additional required details and documents. Fill out the details and upload the documents -> click Submit. Until the users submit all the required details, the call-to-action button on the Money Wallet page will be “Complete KYC”

  6. Once verified, the status on the Money Wallet page changes to “Enabled”. The information is stored in our database as a reference for our legal team to prevent fraudulent activities

 

Note

i. User journey will not be on hold, even when the status is in “Complete KYC”. Users can Create/Publish Drops but, the payment option is enabled only after the KYC is verified.

ii. When the status is “KYC in Review”, the offline validation is in progress at the backend. Meanwhile, users are allowed to Create/Publish drops.
