Drops

By default, Xooa’s configurations are applied if the application admin do not have their own Queue-it account. If the application admin have their own Queue-it account, then they can find the details from the Queue-it console to use them in the fields of the drop card.
The admin can apply the following settings from the Drops card of the application:

  • Waiting Room Outflow: Type or click the up and down arrows of the spin box to provide a numeric value which allows the maximum number of redirects per minute. This is the maximum number of redirects allowed per minute. However, this value can be changed for any waiting room from the Queue-it console. Login to Queue-it console -> Monitoring -> Monitor -> change the “Max Outflow” and click Update.

     

    The maximum number of redirects per minute is 15.

  • PreQueue Time (in minutes): Type or click the up and down arrows of the spin box to provide the number of minutes before a waiting room starts when pre-queue is active. This is time in minutes before the start of the event. For example, pre queue time is 30, then the waiting room starts 30 minutes before the drop begins.
  • Waiting Room Layout: Provide the name of the theme created in the Queue-it. This will set layout for Queue-it waiting room. To create a new theme, login to Queue-it console -> Manage -> Custom Themes -> Add new theme.
  • Drop Time Zone: A time zone refers to a geographic region within which the same standard time is used. This will set the time zone visible to users in the Queue-it waiting room. Click on the Drop Time Zone dropdown list and select the applicable time zone.
  • Queue number validity time: It is the amount of time that the user can access the site after they have been notified it is their turn. Click on the Queue number validity time dropdown list and select the applicable time.
  • Issued By: This is a text field whose value will appear on the Join Drop page.
  • Drop Notification Email: Provide an email id to send notifications regarding the drop activities. In addition to drop admin, the admin can add other users and send email notifications regarding the drop activities.
